Ambiance - Inside decor is great, perfect for the area and VERY clean. SERVICE was AMAZING !!! Food Ordered = Carnitas tacos and burrito were good. My husband LOVED the HOT sauce which BTW IS Hottttt !!!!!! BUT OMG the fish tacos = grilled fish cooked perfectly, seasoned perfectly. Mango salsa on top and chipotle sauce under the fish - thinking homemade. I got to try the green and red sauce for enchiladas - confirmed homemade, SO fresh ! We'll be back SOON !

Went there for a lunch date with the wife and it didn't disappoint. The staff was very nice and the food was delicious. We both had tacos (fish, beef) and a side of guacamole (it was BIG), plus the owner (Vladimir) brought over a freebie which was not on the menu, yet delicious. Not too pricey and plenty of room to sit indoor/outdoor.

this is the first time I went to this restaurant and it was so impressive. It's in a beautiful little location just outside of Markleeville in the woods inside is very rustic with wood tables and barstools and very clean. When you come in, there are refrigerators with the drinks that you can serve yourself and then you put your order in. I had the fish tacos that were incredible with shredded cabbage and the most delicious sauce. My friend had the cheese and chicken enchiladas that were amazing. this is not fast food it is made from scratch but well worth the wait. For dessert we had churros that were the best I have ever had. The service was wonderful and the cooks were friendly and the plates were beautiful. Reasonably priced and large menu. Highly recommend for a great little road trip 35 minutes from Carson City.

What a nice find! Had one of the best fish tacos to be found within 100 miles. Friendly service, clean environment, and excellent food. A bit out of the main part of any town but worth a stop. Mexican food was very authentically prepared.

Drove by this place and noticed that there were four or five Cal Trans trucks parked there. As a retired public works pep that is usually a good sign. Pulled in and you could smell the grill going. Walked in and was immediately greeted with smiles. We ordered the alpine burger and carna tacos. Both were awesome. Endless chips and salsa so yum! I you are in the area it is a must.

Took us driving past this place many times before we realized that it was open! It was a nice welcome after riding motorcycles all day to see a big parking lot, a choice of indoor and outside seating AND a clean restroom!! We ordered the grilled fish tacos and a Caesar salad topped with avocado. Of course you can't pass up their chocolate chip cookies and fresh homemade pies! The place is nice, clean and comfy.

Stumbled across this place driving by and wanting a snack. Found out it just opened and offers a lovely variety of homemade foods (sandwiches & pies) as well as grocery items. The owner was welcoming and cordial and made us feel at home. The coffee was fresh-made and to order and the pies were delicious- loved the strawberry and banana cream. Will stop back in when we're passing through.
